SEO Executive

£20,000-26,000 per annum

As an SEO Executive, you will work across all elements of client campaigns, from technical SEO audits and keyword research to onsite content and outreach. You will collaborate with the wider agency teams to create and deploy clever and creative SEO strategies. Thinking ‘how?’ and ‘why?’ as well as having an astute ability to get things done well, you will not only be responsible for managing successful SEO campaigns, but you will also be able to provide valuable insight to your clients.

Job Details:

Responsibilities of the SEO Executive

  • Creating monthly SEO reports
  • Building SEO strategies for direct clients
  • On-boarding SEO clients
  • Implementing SEO strategies working alongside the content and outreach team
  • Using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console & Majestic SEO
  • Building reports highlighting on-site/technical issues using tools such as Screaming Frog
  • Implementing technical SEO changes
  • Working with designers & developers across your SEO clients to enhance website performance
  • Implementing optimisation changes through a range of CMS platforms (WordPress & Shopify)
  • Creating keyword led strategic content calendars
  • Going through results with clients via a call or in meetings
  • Outreaching to relevant publishers
  • Implementing link building and content marketing tactics
  • Keeping up to date with digital marketing trends

 

Requirements of the SEO Executive

  • 1 years experience with SEMrush & Screaming Frog
  • 1 years experience using WordPress or Shopify
  • 1 years experience using Google Analytics (UA or GA4)
  • Strong written, and verbal communication & organisation skills
  • A desire to progress within digital marketing
  • A good sense of humour is a must, along with communication skills
  • The ideal person will have a positive “can-do” attitude and self-motivated and be able to motivate others around them
  • An eagerness to learn and improve within the role
  • Proactive in learning and understanding the market and flexible in working with a wide variety of clients
  • Ideally, 5 GCSE grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English
  • Social media/previous digital marketing experience is preferred but not essential
