Ocean Florida came to our SEO team looking to increase visibility across key segments within the business. Our KPI’s were aligned with the wider goals of the business to continue growth.

We were tasked with continuing to grow current products offered as well as venturing out to wider holiday destinations. We were assigned with trying to stay ahead in a saturated, busy market competing against some of the biggest travel brands.

We defined a clear strategy that focused on key areas for improvements both on and off site. These looked to not only generate a traffic increase, but also focused on generating enquiries around the products that made a higher ROI for the business.

Strategy

The solution started with keyword research and understanding the search volume across destinations and products that the business offered. Once we had insights into this, we implemented on site optimisation as well as monthly technical audits to enhance their keyword visibility and site traffic.

We also worked alongside a wider marketing team and CRO specialist to utilise data that enabled us to optimise the campaign for ROI. For example, we understood what destinations would return a higher profit margin for the company.

We also consulted with their PPC team to understand trends across keywords, which had a higher conversion to enquiry. We then optimised our SEO campaign alongside the important data to optimise the strategy of our campaign. We had a strategy in place for content marketing initiatives that built relationships and links to drive the wider campaign across various segments. In addition to his, we consulted and executed a digital PR campaign that was used to super charge SEO efforts alongside other benefits to the business such as data and brand awareness.

Execution

At the beginning of the campaign, Ocean had 70 keywords in the top three positions.

After

After 6 months, Ocean now have an incredible 340 keywords in the top three positions for various stunning destinations and products across the globe.

Results

Even with the extra difficulty of the pandemic, our SEO campaign saw Ocean Florida receive an increase of 25,756 additional conversions solely from organic traffic.

As mentioned above, Ocean saw an incredible increase from just 70 keywords in the top three positions, to 340 keywords now. In such a hostile and competitive industry where one keyword position can make all the difference, we are incredibly proud of the level we achieved with our set deliverables and the results we have seen since.

Beyond statistics we are incredibly proud of, this case study allowed us to flex our communication and relationship building skills as we worked closely with the internal team to understand their business from the inside out. This is a great case study in how working together as a team can generate results and help a business reach its full potential.
