Salary: Up to £40k depending on experience

Ink Digital is a fast-growing digital marketing agency based in Brentwood, Essex. We specialise in SEO, PPC, Website Design & Development, and we’re also a HubSpot partner. Our close-knit team works with ambitious brands across fashion, travel, B2B and local industries — helping them grow online through smart digital strategies.
We’re now looking for a Social Media Manager to lead our growing content and social offering — with a focus on client delivery first, followed by building our own brand across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with agency experience who’s confident managing social strategy, creating high-performing content (especially video), and wants to shape and grow a service offering from the ground up.
About the Role
This role will start with a strong focus on client-facing social media work — delivering strategy, content and reporting for a range of brands, while also shaping how we grow this service as a core part of Ink Digital. You’ll also be responsible for Ink’s own social content and presence, working closely with the founder and wider team to raise awareness, build authority, and generate inbound leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy and day-to-day execution of client social media accounts across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Create and edit high-quality, short-form video content for client and internal use — including filming, presenting (where relevant), and editing
- Build and manage content calendars that align with business goals, trends and audience engagement
- Track performance across all platforms and deliver insightful reports for clients and internal use
- Develop and standardise our social media service offering — including pricing, process and delivery decks
- Create sales and website materials to support the growth of our social media services
- Collaborate with our SEO, PPC, design and content teams to integrate social media into broader campaigns
- Oversee Ink Digital’s own social media channels (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn) — focusing on lead generation, trend-led content and brand personality
About You
- Agency experience is essential – you’ve worked across multiple accounts and understand the pace
- Experience managing TikTok strategy and content creation — ideally with proven results
- Confident on camera and capable of creating engaging videos (both for Ink and clients)
- Skilled in short-form video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar)
- Strong grasp of what content works across each platform – and why
- Analytical mindset – comfortable reviewing data and presenting performance
- Clear communicator – you can manage client comms, feedback and reporting with ease
- Proactive, organised and comfortable owning a channel or project from end to end
- Bonus: experience building a social account from the ground up (brand or personal)
